Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to sing the praises of  Sadio Mane after teammate Naby Keita spoke highly of the winger in a recent interview.

This comes after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post which included a quote from Keita saying that Mane is “living his greatest moments right now”.

This tweet then led to a number of Liverpool fans praising the Senegalese forward for his actions so far this season, with some even calling him the best player in the world.

Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans singing the praises of Mane:

The 27-year-old, who is currently valued at a whopping £108 million according to Transfermarkt, has been Liverpool’s standout performer so far this season. In 16 appearances in all competitions, Mane has registered an impressive 10 goals and five assists (per Transfermarkt). His latest heroics for the club came in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa last weekend when Mane not only assisted Andy Robertson’s equalising goal in the 87th minute, but he also went on to score the winner in the dying breaths of the match to secure all three points for his side.

What do we think?
Mane is a fantastic footballer, and his meteoric rise to the top of world football since his days at Southampton has been nothing short of inspiring. The fact that four-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi voted for Mane in FIFA’s The Best awards this year proves just how impressive Mane has been in recent years if he is getting recognised by arguably one of the greatest players in the world.

Interestingly, the African attacker is valued at £108 million (as per Transfermarkt) and surely not many people can argue with that in today’s market, with his goals and assists ever-present.
