While Luke O’Nien will receive plaudits for his diving headers, Denver Hume has also caught the eye of Sunderland supporters. The player has assisted two goals in his last three home games for the Black Cats (WhoScored.com).
Fans on Twitter showed their support for the player. One supporter suggested that the full-back could become an important piece of Phil Parkinson’s lineup going forward.
@Denver_Hume has really impressed me these last few games for someone so young he’s doing a good job definitely going to be a key player for us #safc #ftm #ktf https://t.co/vktDSJUOiE

Others responded to O’Nien’s tweet. The goal scorer was quite complimentary of Hume’s crosses in recent weeks.

What do we think?
With the Black Cats looking to push their way into a playoff spot, creating goal-scoring opportunities could be vital for Parkinson’s team. Should Hume continue his form, he will surely continue to put balls on platters for his teammates. An FA Cup match against Gillingham comes first for Sunderland though.
