After another loss under Phil Parkinson, Sunderland Football Club dropped even further away from their season expectations. There aren’t many highlights for fans of the Black Cats right now.
However, Roker Report suggested that Max Power looked like he was one of the only players trying during the game against Burton. They insist that he was discontent with his team’s performance and believe that he was one of the only positives from the game. However, fans disagreed with this statement. These supporters were far from satisfied with his performance.
Not exactly sure what Power did himself? Him and leadbitter sat right in front of the back four on Tuesday night, no urge to push forward, no forward passes, Both sidewinders. Him and leadbitter are absolute dross

I can’t be the only one who disagrees with this? I think he’s been one of the players who’s effort levels have dropped most under Parkinson

He was horrific as usual, lost the ball multiple times, hid behind burton players on our throw ins and moved less than me going to the toilet at half time

Bloke was casually strolling around the pitch after the second goal and frequently watched as players simply ran past him, but I guess he had that outburst at the players so I guess he was trying.

Do you believe Max Power is giving his max effort?
Yes
No
One fan calls for Power to be dropped from the squad, claiming that the team can’t win with him in the lineup. Another fan admits that while he may have been trying his efforts just haven’t been good enough.
Power needs to be out the team when he plays we don’t win

Don’t doubt he tries but he’s been missing for several games now.

What do we think?
Regardless of whether Power, who is valued at £675k (Transfermarkt), was trying or not it clearly didn’t make a difference either way. Fans need a group of 11 players who are willing to put in a shift each week. Right now Parkinson has been unable to inspire such performances. Hopefully, things change for the Sunderland fans soon.
