Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to plead with their club to sign Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen in the upcoming January transfer window.
This comes after Newcastle news Twitter account @NUFC360 shared a post on their official page relaying information originally reported by the Daily Star that Steve Bruce is interested in the winger.
This post then led to a number of Newcastle fans calling for the club to sign Bowen as soon as possible.
Here’s a sample of Newcastle fans wanting Bowen to sign in January:
Steve Bruce wants Hull’s Jarrod Bowen – but is willing to wait for the winger.
He’s out of contract next summer, but Hull have an option to extend his deal for another year & are trying to protect their £20M prize asset by offering improved terms to 2022. [Daily Star] #nufc— NUFC 360 (@NUFC360) November 24, 2019
Just pay the money before other clubs coming looking at him…

Jarrod Bowen is a goal scorer
Exactly what #NUFC need
Someone who can score goals and take some of the burden off Joelinton & Co.
Allowing them to play with less pressure will ultimately see them start scoring goals as well— Lefteris (@LefterisToon) November 24, 2019
£20m is pocket change for a footballer these days. Others will come calling for him, you wait around, you lose out.

The 22-year-old, who is currently valued at £9 million, according to Transfermarkt, has made 17 appearances for Hull so far this season, scoring 10 goals and assisting two (per Transfermarkt).
Now with this latest update on a potential move for the winger, it has got some Newcastle fans excited for a January swoop.
Absolutely yes on this. Quite how he’s not been snapped up by a prem club yet idk…

What a cracking addition he wud be for #nufc on the wing allowing Bruce to move Almiron more central.

What do we think?
If Bruce can sign Bowen in January, it would give struggling Magpies winger Miguel Almiron competition for a spot in the starting XI. But would Hull be open to selling one of their star players halfway through the season?
