Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to share their delight with news of a new contract extension for Elijah Dixon-Bonner.
This wave of delight came after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post on their page announcing the news along with an article from their website on it.
This then led to a number of replies from Liverpool fans ecstatic with the youngster’s contract extension.

The 18-year-old central midfielder joined the Liverpool youth team in 2015 from Arsenal (per Transfermarkt). This season, Dixon-Bonner has made 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals along the way (per Transfermarkt). Now he has signed a contract extension with the Merseyside club.
This news went down very well with some Liverpool fans who were quick to point out the Englishman’s potential.

What do we think?
It’s always positive to see big clubs showing their faith in their youngsters by giving them contract extensions or eventual professional contracts. Indeed, some Liverpool fans appear to already have positive things to say about the youngster, and given Jurgen Klopp’s respect for youth, perhaps fans will see him in the first-team in the near future, with the Carabao Cup clash with Aston Villa coming up.
