Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to share their appreciation for Jorginho after yet another brilliant performance this season.
This bout of praise comes off the back of a tweet shared by Chelsea journalist Alex Goldberg on his Twitter page, claiming the Italian midfielder is becoming “one of the most likeable Chelsea players in recent memory.”
This tweet then led to a lot of Chelsea fans agreeing with Goldberg’s statement about the midfield maestro.
Here’s a sample of Chelsea fans praising Jorginho:
Very true!

He’ll do anything to get us the win. Love his attitude

The passion he shows for the club is similar to that off lampard, drogba, JT,Ash, cech days , love to see it

Jorginho was influential in Chelsea’s recent 2-1 win against Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League. The 27-year-old made a wonderful defence-splitting pass to put it on a plate for team-mate Tammy Abraham to strike past Ben Foster in the Watford goal to put the visitors ahead in the first half.
But, it was Jorginho’s entire performance that earned him so much praise from Chelsea fans on Twitter.
Jorginho has been player and leader we lacked since Costa left.

A couple of fans even compared him to former Chelsea duo Michael Ballack and Cesc Fabregas.
Ballack lives in him now

Reminds me of Cesc in the way he breathes passion and fight into the team. Him and kovacic are killing teams at the minute

What do we think?
According to WhoScored, Jorginho received a rating of 7.4 in the match against Watford, the fourth-highest of any Chelsea player, behind Christian Pulisic (8.1), Tammy Abraham and Mateo Kovacic (7.8), as well as Kurt Zouma (7.5).
If Jorginho continues on his hot run of form, he could be a strong contender for Chelsea’s Player of the Year award.
