Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to share their delight over footage from their recent victory over Newcastle United.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @astonforza shared a post on their page that included a video clip of a long passage of build-up play in their 2-0 win over Newcastle on Monday.
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans sharing their opinions on the match footage.

The footage shows Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz work his way through the Newcastle midfield to then pass the ball to Jack Grealish on the left midfield. After a sharp passing exchange with Wesley, the Englishman took the ball towards the Newcastle box, which sadly ended up in the Magpies’ possession.
But this passage of play excited some Villa fans who were pleased with what they saw.

What do we think?
The footage shows a very nice attacking move from Dean Smith’s side. This goes to show how much of an attacking threat Villa can be to other Premier League clubs and also highlights the hard work Smith has put in to get his side playing an entertaining brand of football.
If the Midlands club can keep producing these types of attacking chances in games, and with some better finishing execution, they should soon climb up the table.
