Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers are retaining their faith in Patrick Cutrone despite a sub-par performance in the Europa League.
The Italian 21-year-old was introduced to the action for the final 20 minutes in Thursday night’s 1-0 victory over Slovan Bratislava in the Europa League (per BBC).
Cutrone picked up a 6/10 rating for his 20-minute outing and ‘did not really get into the game’ (as per Express and Star).
However, rather than slate their man, supporters of the Old Gold retained their belief that the 21-year-old will come good despite another unimposing performance.
Makes some great runs & when the midfielders get used to@them, he’ll get a number of goals!! I like him!!

The Italian has featured in 18 outings for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in all competitions so far this season, bagging just two goals for his side so far (per Transfermarkt).
However, on only three occasions has the 21-year-old featured for the full 90-minute duration, once in the Europa League and twice in the Carabao Cup (via Transfermarkt).
Despite his below-average goals return, the Molineux faithful are sticking by their £22.5-million rated man, who they believe will come good.
Would have scored if Jimenez didn’t.

What do we think?
While a 6.32/10 average rating for the season is uninspiring (per Whoscored), it sometimes takes newcomers an extended period to adjust to Premier League life.
Coupled with the Old Gold’s hectic schedule (per The Guardian), hopefully Cutrone will begin to settle into Molineux life before too long.
