Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers are delighted with Nuno Espirito Santo following the side’s qualification for the knockout stages of the Europa League.
On Thursday night, a 3-3 draw away to Portuguese outfit, Braga, was enough to seal qualification from Group K of the competition with a game to spare (per BBC).
With the Molineux faithful delighted to see their club progress to the next stage of the competition, many praised the Old Gold’s gaffer for the accomplishment following reciprocated praise of them (per Wolves).
“I’m extremely proud. 6,000 fans here is amazing. It requires a lot of effort from them, flights and travel, on a night like this, that’s what makes us proud. The journey we started together, since the Championship, I’m very proud. If we can achieve more, we will try.”

Is Nuno Espirito Santo Wolves' greatest ever manager? No, not just yetYes, absolutely |
Over the past several days, rumours have been swirling that Arsenal would look to appoint Nuno as their new boss should Unai Emery get the sack (as per The Mirror).
With the Gunners’ Spanish boss axed on Friday morning (per Metro), many were so delighted with the result that they ruled out their Portuguese gaffer going anywhere.

What do we think?
It is doubtless, the 45-year-old gaffer is doing special things at Molineux, having only been in place in the midlands for two-and-a-half years.
The latest Arsenal link has cast some doubt over how long it will continue for, but Wolves fans will just have to whole-heartedly enjoy his stay for as long as possible.
