Once again Nathan Holland is in hot demand by the West Ham United fans, with many calling for him to at least be included on the bench.
Holland scored twice against Swansea City U23’s on Sunday, taking his tally up to eight goals in 10 Premier League 2 Division 2 games.
Other players amongst the goals in the 4-2 win were Anthony Scully and Dan Kemp. Scully is also in great form as he has managed to register 10 goals in nine league games so far this season.

We have no pace on the bench, why does he not get a chance?

The lad can’t do much more, deserves a chance, as do a few of the U23s at least on the bench

Surely we need to get him into the 1st team

Holland was given his shot against Oxford United in the EFL Cup but failed to hold on to his place in the first-team.
With the way the first team is playing at the moment the fact our current u23’s are smashing it is a massive plus point need to bring some of these youngsters in

What the heck is it going to take for him to get an opportunity with the First Team? At this point what is there to lose.

He should have a place on the first team bench at the moment. Give him some experience in the last 10 mins or so and then ramp up his time depending on his output and overall performance/attitude

What Do We Think?
With West Ham failing to win in their last five Premier League games, it would appear including Holland on the bench may come with little to no risk for the Hammers at the moment.
Carlos Sanchez is the player that should be replaced, with the Colombian playing only 14 minutes this season and failing to impress when he does play. That spot on the bench would, perhaps, mean a lot more to one of the U23’s than it does to a 33-year-old struggling to get game time, whilst it would also give the Irons a much-needed additional attacking outlet.
