West Ham United were on the receiving end of a home defeat at the hands of Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United at the weekend and one player in particulars post-match comments haven’t gone down well with the clubs supporters. Summer signing Albian Ajeti told the clubs official website: “For the fans, especially, we have to do everything to get the win”.
Those comments, whilst I’m sure they were meant with the best of intentions have not gone down well with the clubs supporters.
Winning is the goal. Maybe even aspire to win a cup or become champions? Right now it just seems like y’all don’t even care. It is just one jolly kick about and who cares what we do because we are already paid. Living a reality TV show life style rather than playing the sport.

Less talking would be a start, get on with what your paid to do, winning football matches and please no more prank videos, you should be spending that time focusing on how to beat your next opponents?

Sorry does he say 1 Big performance! There’s another 20 odd games to go, No point just turning up for a few games a season. But his fault as he’s not being played but take your chances and shoot when given the opportunity.

Blimey really running low on players to wheel out with the ‘must do better, we go again next week’ articles

Wasn’t expecting Ateji to be used for this PR nonsense. Ran out of first teamers to say this

What do we think?
Ajeti joined West Ham in the summer from Swiss outfit FC Basel but his opportunities have been limited. The striker has made just three Premier League appearances this season so can hardly be blamed for the clubs poor run of form.
The reality is whoever was put in front of the camera and delivered that type of cliche comment was likely to receive an angry backlash from the supporters such is the general mood around the London Stadium at present.
West Ham travel to Burnley this weekend and perhaps they can finally register the ‘big win’ Ajeti spoke of.
