Celtic fans on Twitter are enjoying a GIF image shared by the club’s official account of Callum McGregor interrupting a photo opportunity with his teammates.
Many Hoops fans retweeted and reacted to the post while also celebrating the player’s new deal with the club.
The 26-year-old signed a five-year extension to his contract on Wednesday morning having joined them in 2001 as a youngster. The new deal will keep him at Parkhead until 2024, with many expecting him to take over the captaincy from current incumbent Scott Brown after he retires.
There were rumours that Bournemouth and Leicester were interested in securing McGregor’s services in the near future, but he has put those rumours to bed with Wednesday’s announcement.
And whilst many are ecstatic about the news, it hasn’t stopped the club and fans sharing fun moments with the committed Bhoy.
