Michail Antonio scored on his return to the West Ham United lineup however, his post-match comments gained a much different reaction from the fans.
Antonio’s comment was: “I’m gutted with the result, but it was amazing to be back on the pitch after being out for eleven-and-a-half weeks.”
However, most of the fans were more concerned about the club making a statement about the sacking of manager Manuel Pellegrini.

It’s a shame the fans haven’t shown much appreciation for Antonio’s return, however, it’s clearly an issue of priorities and the Hammers fans feel the sacking of Pellegrini is more important than a goal.
If we Sack Pellegrini now we actually have a chance of picking up 2 points from our next 2 games.
If we don’t, guaranteed 0 points and at least a -6 goal difference— Jed (@Jed_rg) November 25, 2019
Next tweet better be a club statement.

What Do We Think?
It’s good that the 29-year-old is now back playing and has at least got off to a good start by scoring in a tough match. However, the sacking of Pellegrini seems to be imminent and the fans feel it’s about time the new manager is announced. With tough fixtures against Chelsea and Wolves coming up, it seems very likely that a new boss will be in east London very soon.
