Manuel Pellegrini’s press conference has failed to win over the West Ham United fans ahead of their match against Newcastle United.
The press conference caused some fans to be critical of the manager, with many of them seeming to be bored with what the Chilean had to say.
Newcastle hold the advantage in this fixture over the last six games, with the Magpies winning 67% and West Ham winning 33%, according to the statistics gathered by WhoScored.
The most goals scored in this fixture is five, in a 3-2 thriller back in December 2017. However, it does not appear as though many believe Pellegrini will be able to deliver this time around as a vast majority of their fans took to social media to slam him ahead of the game.

When are the board going to consider getting rid of him? He’s on top wages, he’s had more investment than any West ham manager ever, yet he can’t make us any more than what we’ve always been – a mid table team

Please don’t ruin another weekend. 3 points please

The last time these two sides played in the Premier League West Ham won 2-0 in March.
Any talk at all of any athleticism and energy for our midfield in jan?

What Do We Think?
If Pellegrini’s team can walk away with all three points on Saturday, many of these fans’ opinions on him may change, although it might not be worth banking on it. However, if the result is another disappointing one, the fans may turn up the heat on the Chilean manager and, subsequently, the powers that be at the London Stadium.
The Hammers are likely to look to top goalscorer Sebastien Haller to lead the way, hopefully in a two striker formation, so the Frenchman can be much less isolated than he has found himself in recent matches for the Irons.
