A lot of Spurs fans were very complimentary of their 19-year-old winger Ryan Sessegnon after he made his Champions League debut in Wednesday night’s win over Red Star Belgrade, as he came off the bench to provide the assist for Spurs’ fourth goal of the evening.
Sessegnon, who signed for Spurs in the summer from Fulham, was made to wait some time for his debut for the North London club; eventually making his bow in the draw with Everton on Sunday. However, he was given little time to impact proceedings at Goodison Park; coming on in the 102nd minute of the game, but was allowed more time on the pitch against Red Star.
Sessegnon came on with the score at 3-0 in the 75th minute and picked out team-mate Christian Eriksen who sealed a comprehensive away win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The England Under-21 player missed most of the early season due to a hamstring injury but now looks set to be part of Pochettino’s first-team plans after featuring off the substitutes’ bench in their last two fixtures.
Some of the best reactions from Spurs fans to Sessegnon’s Champions League debut and assist can be seen in the tweets below.

Spurs fans were clearly delighted with Sessegnon’s impact in their Champions League clash and will be hoping to see more of him in the upcoming games
What do we think?
Sessegnon was extremely impressive in the Championship with Fulham; scoring 16 times and assisting eight goals in a breakthrough season with the club. However, he struggled to adapt to the Premier League last year as Fulham were relegated, but it seems as if in his early appearances with Spurs he is going to be a great player for them in the future.
