Spurs fans were full of praise for young academy talent Malachi Fagan-Walcott after the 17-year-old signed his first professional contract with the club.
The centre-back tweeted thanking Spurs after he signed the contract with the North London side and will be hoping to continue his development in the academy sides. The youngster has made nine appearances for the youth teams so far this season and has featured in various age groups for England.
Despite being a centre-back, Fagan-Walcott is extremely pacey, having won 200m sprint championships as a kid. At just 17 it is unlikely that Fagan-Walcott will be featuring in the first-team any time soon, but supporters are excited about his first contract nonetheless.

These Spurs fans were clearly delighted to see Fagan-Walcott sign his first deal and will be hoping to see a lot more of the youngster in the coming years.
Of course, Mauricio Pochettino’s departure could prove to be a negative thing for the 17-year-old, as the Argentine provided plenty of opportunities for youth, including Harry Winks and Dele Alli. Indeed, Mourinho has vowed to develop youth players, but it all depends on whether he keeps his word as the pressure possibly mounts up.
