Spurs fans were treated to the news this week that Jose Mourinho has a lot of interest in Leicester right-back Ricardo Pereira and it seems as if a lot of fans are very keen on the Portuguese defender.
According to the Sun (via RickySacks), Mourinho is considering an approach for Pereira in January as he looks to make serious changes to the Spurs defence. The 26-year-old signed for Leicester from Porto in 2018 and has been very impressive so far this season for the high-flying Foxes; averaging a 7.54 rating for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
After Kieran Trippier departed the club in the summer, Spurs have been left with just Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters as natural right-backs at the club, both of whom have seriously struggled at times for the North London club.
Despite an impressive opening performance from Aurier under Mourinho, he will no doubt want to bring in some competition for the Ivory Coast international, and Pereira could be the ideal man.

These Spurs fans are clearly keen on the prospect of Pereira at the club and will be hoping that Mourinho can convince the right-back to move to North London.
What do we think?
Pereira has had a brilliant start to the season with Leicester, who look to be an excellent shout for a Champions League place. It would no doubt be an expensive transfer if Spurs were to approach the £27 million rated man, but at 26 he could be a brilliant option for them at right-back for the significant future.
