Tottenham Hotspur supporters have begged the club to ship out Erik Lamela following the club’s latest injury update.
On Thursday afternoon, Spurs’ official Twitter account relayed the information that the Argentine will be unavailable for this weekend’s clash with West Ham due to a hamstring issue (per Tottenham Hotspur).
Due to the regular occurrence of the 27-year-old’s trips to the injury room, many fans of the North London club appear to have had enough.
I’m on my knees for Jose to get rid of Lamela and bring in someone who’s actually worth their wage

Spurs’ Argentine winger has been out of action since prior to the clash against Liverpool at the end of October (per Football.london).
However, the last time the 27-year-old featured for Spurs, in the 5-0 victory over Red Star Belgrade in North London, he picked up an impressive 8/10 rating with a goal and two assists (per Express).
Despite his stellar last performance, the number of injuries Lamela picks up (per Transfermarkt) still infuriated Tottenham fans.

What do we think?
It is without a doubt, when the Argentine is fit to play, he could be an essential figure for Jose Mourinho, having produced three goals and three assists, however, it is a question of whether he can remain fit enough to feature.
It will give Spurs’ new gaffer real food for thought in the upcoming windows if the 27-year-old cannot keep himself off the injury table.
