I’m hoping Jose can get Alli back on track, he got the best out of Frank Lampard

I remember Lampard saying Mourinho told him he was the best midfielder in the world when he first went to Chelsea and it put his confidence through the roof. As you said, if he can do this to Alli then we’ll reap the rewards.

The 23-year-old Englishman’s Spurs career has looked in danger of stalling for some time (per The Times), but the managerial switch could spell change for the midfielder.
With the new partnership being predicted to have the potential to make Spurs one of Europe’s best, many were excited about what the future held.
I think he has a similar starting block as he did 1st Chelsea stint. A good spine to build around. He will get dele and dier back to their best no doubt. The more I read and listen the more excited I am COYS

Excited to see how Jose can further develop the likes of Dele, Dier, Kane, Winks etc. We have a strong squad, even without the wantaways

What do we think?
Whether Spurs fans are right about Mourinho unlocking Alli’s potential, only time will tell.
However, it is likely that if the Portuguese 56-year-old is to be successful with Tottenham, then the Englishman will be one of the key players in the spine of the team to build around.
