Celebrity British rapper and Spurs fan AJ Tracey was certainly shocked by the recent events at Spurs, after it was announced that Jose Mourinho would replace Mauricio Pochettino as manager of the North London club.
The rapper tweeted saying: “this might be one of the most insane things to ever happen to Spurs” following Mourinho’s appointment on Wednesday morning. With Spurs languishing in 14th position in the Premier League, Pochettino was relieved of his duties by chairman Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho has since taken his place.

The 56-year-old has been out of management since being sacked by Manchester United in 2018 but brings a wealth of experience and a proven ability to win trophies to the North London club. The former Chelsea manager’s first game in charge of Spurs will be Saturday’s trip to fellow strugglers West Ham, as they look to win their first Premier League away game since January.

Tracey was clearly shocked by the appointment, as the Portuguese boss arrives with a mixed pedigree considering his recent time with Manchester United. Mourinho’s time at United was often judged to be a failure, although their form this season suggests that the Portuguese boss may have been overachieving and he still managed to bring them success in the Europa League and League Cup.
Mourinho won the Premier League on three separate occasions with Chelsea in two spells with the club and no doubt Spurs fans will be hoping he can be the man to end their barren run of no major trophies since 2008.
