Some Manchester United fans have expressed their joy after hearing that Ashley Young has received a one-match suspension for the club.
United picked up a disappointing 1-0 defeat to south coast side Bournemouth this past weekend, as a first-half Joshua King goal was enough for the Cherries to pick up a big win against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.
The game saw Solskjaer start Ashley Young instead of Brandon Williams, who had impressed in United’s League Cup game at Chelsea. While that did attract some criticism from United fans, something else caught their eyes.
Young received a yellow card at the Vitality Stadium and that was his fifth booking of the season. Because of that, he is set to be suspended for the next game.
United fans are overjoyed by the news.

The Englishman has appeared in nine Premier League games so far this season, failing to score or assist even once. He has also played once in United’s Europa League campaign so far.
Young joined United in the summer of 2011 from Premier League side Aston Villa for an alleged fee of £17million (BBC). Since joining, the former Watford man has played 254 times in all competitions for the club, scoring 18 times and assisting 42 times.
He has won the Premier League once, helping United win the Europa League and League Cup under Jose Mourinho. He also helped the club win the FA Cup under Louis van Gaal.
The suspension also saw some fans beg for Williams to start in the next game.
Get in Brandon Williams

Why does he even start anyway? Brandon Williams is so much better and even an overweight Luke Shaw is better

United’s next Premier League game sees them host Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford, after playing Partizan Belgrade at home in the Europa League.
What do we think?
Young’s suspension should be seen as a welcome sign because of how well Williams has done. He won the penalty in the away game in Belgrade, apart from doing very at Chelsea. The 19-year-old has done enough to play a Premier League game and the Brighton game presents the perfect chance for just that.
