Everton supporters have reacted to a Twitter post from Jordan Pickford following England’s European Championships qualifier against Montenegro.
In the Three Lions’ 1000th game, the Toffees’ stopper managed to keep a clean sheet as Gareth Southgate’s side demolished the Southeast European county, 7-0 (as per Sky Sports).
With qualification for the 2020 Euros secured (per BBC), England’s number one posted to social media, allowing the Goodison Park faithful to wax lyrical over their man.

The 25-year-old ‘keeper has been situated in Merseyside since his £30-million move from Sunderland – which made Pickford the most expensive British stopper in history (via BBC).
Since then, the Englishman has kept 31 clean sheets for the Toffees, in 101 appearances (via Transfermarkt), leaving Everton supporters in admiration of their man.

What do we think?
While the £36-million-rated ‘keeper has come under fire whilst on duty with Gareth Southgate in the past (per Dream Team FC), he is clearly a talented stopper.
With two excellent saves in last night’s Group A clash, the Englishman earned himself a deserved 7/10 rating for his performance (as per The Guardian).
