Everton supporters have aired their opinion that they would not want the club to sign Rangers striker, Alfredo Morelos.
Despite already having a squad boasting four out-and-out strikers (per Transfermarkt), a discussion was sparked on Twitter as to whether Rangers’ Colombian striker should be added into the mix, as the Liverpool Echo relayed Alan Stubbs’ comment, urging the Toffees to sign the forward (as per Ladbrokes Social Club episode 16 on Youtube).
With some supporters not rating the character of the 23-year-old and others believing the striker has a disciplinary problem, it was a hard pass.
He’d spend half the season suspended.

Great striker, spends most of the season suspended unfortunately

Even with Gerrard as manager (who I imagine is much tougher than silva) he still has discipline issues. Disaster waiting to happen plus Gerrard would want to fleece us.

Last thing we need is another striker with a bad attitude.

The Colombian forward, who is valued at £6.75 million, has scored 22 goals in 26 league and cup outings for Steven Gerrard’s side so far this term, also laying on seven goals for teammates (per Transfermarkt).
With Marco Silva already having Cenk Tosun, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Moise Kean and Oumar Niasse at his disposal (via Whoscored), some fans did not believe the striker was up to the required standard.
No way,not good enough.

Yeah cos scoring goals in a Mickey Mouse league in Scotland means you’re a brilliant player doesn’t it, he’s a league one level player at best

What do we think?
It is without a doubt, Rangers’ Colombian forward is a goal machine; having registered 29 goal involvements in 26 games for Scottish Premier League side in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
With a goal involvement figure that high, it is clear that the 23-year-old – who still has youth on his side – would be able to score at least some goals anywhere he played.
So, it seems strange that some would discredit him on the goals scoring front, and with only five yellow cards and no reds across those 26 games (per Transfermarkt) – his discipline issue may also be a myth.
