Everton supporters have shared their concerns over a potential hamstring injury to Toffees midfielder, Fabian Delph.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Delph had missed a training session that day and would be assessed ahead of Marco Silva’s side’s game against Southampton at the weekend (via Liverpool Echo).
With the 29-year-old potentially joining Everton’s, already hefty, midfield injury list, the club’s supporters were gutted to hear of the hamstring problem.

That’s all we need another injury. We have been blighted with injuries. Really hope Fabian is available for selection this weekend. @EvertonBlueArmy .

We should just fold the club.

Should the Englishman be sidelined, he would be joining the already injured: Bernard, Jean Philippe-Gbamin and Andre Gomes (as per Liverpool Echo).
With the latter having suffered a horror injury in the Toffees’ 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, it would make it a damaging week for Silva’s midfield should Delph fail his pre-match assessment.
While many were frustrated over the Merseyside club’s poor run of luck on the injuries front, others began to speculate how their middle third could look against the Saints.
Honestly I’d sooner start Gomes next game than Schneiderlin.

Anybody in the Gwladys up for playing midfield?

Sad to here but Maybe he might have to try 4-4-2

What do we think?
Should Delph miss the trip to the south coast, Silva will be left with Tom Davies, Beni Baningime and Morgan Schneiderlin to chose from in holding midfield (per Transfermarkt).
With Baningime still lacking in first-team experience (via Transfermarkt), it would be expected that Davies and Schneiderlin would get the nod for the clash.
