The 23-year-old has started in all three of the Toffees’ last Premier League outings for Marco Silva, bagging two assists in the process (per Transfermarkt).
Having picked up an 8/10 performance rating in the club’s last outing (per Liverpool Echo), the 2-1 victory over Southampton, Holgate has hit a strong vein of form.
With supporters recognising the slow realisation of the defender’s talents, they were delighted that the club had stuck by him in the three years since his Premier League debut (per Transfermarkt).
Made up we never swerved him a few years ago. Gonna be class

Mad to think last year that Everton fans would want Walcott, Davies and Holgate to start

What do we think?
While the 23-year-old, who is valued at £6.3 million (Transfermarkt), only has a 6.56/10 average rating for the season so far (per Whoscored), he appears to be growing in confidence with every outing.
With the last against Southampton being the pinnacle of his season so far, there’s a strong feeling that the best is yet to come from Holgate.
