Everton supporters have aired their discontent with Marco Silva despite his belief that the Toffees’ tides are turning.

The Merseyside club’s gaffa has been under growing pressure for a number of months at Goodison Park, with results worse than desired (via BBC).

With two wins and a draw in the Toffees’ last three league and cup outings (per Sky Sports), things look to be on the up, however, supporters are having none of it.

Patience has worn thin for the 42-year-old Portuguese this season, with the Merseyside club picking up only four wins in 12 league games and sitting 15th in the Premier League table (per BBC).

To add fuel to the fire the club poured £108 million into a summer spending spree for new recruits, however, little return has been seen for the heft outlay (via Transfermarkt).

With supporters now feeling as though Silva’s time at Goodison Park is up, they had little time for his ray of positivity.

What do we think?

Despite the three previous results certainly being positive, the 42-year-old is still under immense pressure to turn things around for the Toffees (via Telegraph).

With Silva staring down the barrel of Leicester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United in their next five games; it looks a tall order for the Portuguese manager (via BBC).
