Supporters of Everton have predicted that Tom Davies will impress for the Toffees against Southampton.
With Andre Gomes, Jean-Phillipe Gbamin and, most likely, Fabian Delph set to miss the trip to the south coast (per Liverpool Echo), it is likely Davies will get the nod for a starting spot.
With the 21-year-old Englishman in line for a start, supporters were expecting big things from their youngster.

The Everton academy graduate has featured sporadically for the Toffees since his debut in April 2016, during a 1-1 draw against Southampton (as per Transfermarkt).
Since then, Davies has gone on to make 95 appearances for the Goodison Park club, scoring four and assisting six across those outings (via Transfermarkt).
With the 21-year-old set to take his game tally to 96 on Saturday, Everton fans were looking forward with anticipation.
@ChrisPitchy never doubted he’d make it! 🙂

Cue career ending challenge from Danny Ings on Saturday.
But don’t worry everyone, Danny will be fine.

What do we think?
So far, in his Toffees career, the 21-year-old has somewhat struggled to realise his full potential, with a consistent run in the side being hard to come by up until this point. However, with a lengthy run in the team possibly on the cards due to injuries, he may be just about to show his worth.
