Supporters of Everton have shown their delight with the Toffee’s hierarchy after the announcement of a grassroots initiative.
On Monday afternoon the Merseyside club announced that they would be investing £225,000 in grassroots football over the next three years (via Everton).
With the club’s latest charitable act shared to Twitter, via the club’s official account, supporters were delighted to see the club giving something back to the Liverpool community.

The initiative will see the club put £75,000 a year until 2021 into the lowest reaches of the game to ensure that football is playable for all across Merseyside (via Everton).
Everton’s donation is mirrored by near-neighbours Liverpool, who will be contributing the same amount to see £450,000 distributed to grassroots in the area over the next three years (via Liverpool Foundation).
With the latest act coming in a long line of good deeds through Everton in the Community, supporters were pleased to see their work continue.

What do we think?
It is, without a doubt, a fantastic initiative being run by Everton and the Reds, that will spread a great amount of positivity in the community.
