Everton supporters have called for the club to sack Marco Silva following the defeat to Norwich City.
On Saturday, the Toffees succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Canaries (per BBC), which intensified the already growing pressure on the Portuguese 42-year-old (as per The Telegraph).
Following the result, many supporters felt that Silva’s time in Merseyside was up and called for the club to take an immediate change in managerial direction.

The defeat marked the Toffees’ seventh in 13 games this season, with the club sitting 15th in the Premier League table, four points above the drop zone (as per BBC).
Pressure had been building on the Portuguese manager for a number of months and things had looked to have turned for the Merseyside club after a recent victory over Southampton (per The Telegraph).
However, the latest result has reopened old wounds and unified Everton’s fanbase against the former Watford gaffer (per Sky Sports).
@everton look at this, not one positive response. All saying enough , sort it out and sack him. He CANNOT come back from this. No more tweets until hes gone please.

Sorry we seriously had enough. Woe is us messages from our club simply not good enough. As the late great Howard Kendall and illustrious players to wear the royal blue only thing that matters is NSNO. Our club a shambles and time Silva to go!

Do you honestly think coming out with anything other than he’s been relieved of his duties is going to help this stage…. Just waiting for the obligatory player to come out and chat rubbish to…. Weak from top to bottom

Same mistakes again … not learning from them or changing tactics … sorry but he needs to go

What do we think?
The situation looks almost perilous for Silva, with a near-impossible run of fixtures coming up against Leicester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, the Foxes again and then Arsenal before Christmas (as per Sky Sports).
When it gets to the point where a fanbase is so wholeheartedly calling for a sacking, it is very difficult to turn things around from there – which Silva will probably find over the next six fixtures.
