Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is said to be unhappy at Arsenal and will hold talks with the club over his role in the team next week. The midfielder was heavily linked with a return to Italy during the summer with AC Milan said to have been leading the chase and it appears the Gunners star has become unimpressed with the way in which he’s being utilised.
Worryingly, it is stated that Torreira could leave in January.
These fans understand the 23-year-old’s frustrations with some blaming under pressure Head Coach Unai Emery for causing the player to be unhappy.
As a DM he is amazing, but to be honest playing as a B2B and a No.10 must be making him think twice about Arsenal. The only thing that can save him is a new manager who will play him in his correct position. Ten Haag/Freddie/Arteta will rejuvenate him.

That would be disgraceful. Clearly one of our best players being misused by our clown of a manager

Dont blame him tbh, I would if I was a cdm playing as a cam/st

We wanted a natural DM,we now have him but yet can’t utilize him… Who has done this to us?

Can’t blame him, seems like an utterly sane decision to make.

That’s a dreadful news. He’s the heart of Arsenal now. Unai should leave now b4 more players leave.

What do we think?
When Lucas Torreira arrived in the summer of 2018, Arsenal fans will have thought they were finally getting the defensive midfield player they had been longing for but in recent months it appears Unai Emery has decided the player is no longer suited to playing in that role.
Torreira has found starts difficult to come by this season, he’s made the starting line up in just 27% of the Gunners Premier League fixtures and when he has played he’s been tasked with pressing further up the field. It will come as no surprise to the clubs supporters that the Uruguayan has become disillusioned by his current role and so rumours of ‘showdown talks’ can be taken seriously.
