It’s rumoured former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho could be interested in taking on the Arsenal job if the club were to part company with Unai Emery. Duncan Wright of The Sun reports Mourinho has set his sights on delivering titles and European trophies for a third English club, something that’s never been achieved before.
The Portuguese’s relationship with the Arsenal faithful has always been strained as a result of the multiple run-ins he had with the Gunners’ legendary manager Arsene Wenger. Mourinho has since spoken of his regret over the furious bust-ups between the two but how would the clubs fans feel if he was to take over the hot-seat at the Emirates Stadium?
He is a serial winner no doubt about that but he will need to play attacking football if he comes no bus allowed at the carpet. He proved that he was able to do it with RMA

Says it all that I’m actually at a point now that I would take him. I have never liked to idea of him bringing his brand of football to the Emirates but it really can’t be any worse at this point.

Well anyone but Emery at this point.

But for every Arsenal fan that would be happy to see Mourinho appointed there are those who can’t forgive past transgressions.
If you really think Mourinho is the right man to lead arsenal then you really need to get your head check

Latter years Mourinho + trophies = oxymoron.

What do we think?
Given large sections of the Arsenal fan base are currently unhappy with the team’s playing style, it’s probably safe to say Mourinho isn’t going to set the Emirates Stadium alight with expansive and entertaining football. One thing you can guarantee however is he will bring an aura of efficiency and stability to a side who currently concede too many goals.
The previous between the clubs supporters and Mourinho may be difficult to move on from but if he was to be appointed someday and results were to improve, the Gunners’ faithful would soon embrace the 56-year-old. His trophy record speaks for itself, a born winner but whether he is the right fit for a club such as Arsenal remains to be seen.
