Tottenham have reportedly made an offer to sign Roma midfielder Lorezno Pellegrini and it is no surprise to see some supporters on Twitter drooling over the potential swoop for the Italy international this summer. Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira reported via his personal Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon that Spurs have made a proposal to Pellegrini’s agent and that the central midfielder is available for £26.7million this summer due to a release clause in his contract at Roma. The Italian ace would be a great addition to the Spurs midfield and these fans seem to believe that Daniel Levy would be pulling off a good deal here. Pellegrini is only 22-years-old but has the class and technique of someone much older. Spurs need to add to their midfield this summer and the Rome-born playmaker would be an upgrade on some of the players that Mauricio Pochettino already has in that position. While swapping him for Erik Lamela might not be the best idea, it’s not hard to see why the fans are excited about this transfer report.
