OPINION
Many Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react to the latest transfer story that has surfaced about the club. According to Spanish publication Cordopolis, Dean Smith’s side are keen on signing Cordoba winger Andres Martin. The 19-year-old has just finished his breakthrough season with the Spanish second-tier side and scored seven goals and assisted four others in 32 appearances in all competitions last season. Some of these Villa fans are right – Martin is a good player for the club to be linked with. He is only 19, and he clearly has a good eye for goal. And the fact that he is playing in the Spanish second division means that he could potentially flourish if he was brought to a better division like the Premier League. However, those saying ‘I wouldn’t want him’ are wrong. Seven goals is not a great return – admittedly – but the fact is that Martin is only 19 and has plenty of room for development.
His FM ratings are shocking ????

Sevilla, Real Madrid or Barsa want to sign him too… Good prospect indeed.

He’s only 19, so one for the future, if it happens.
