Jamie O’Hara raved about the importance of Tottenham forward Harry Kane and insisted the club shouldn’t sell him for any price.

The England international has netted 24-times for Spurs this season in all competitions, despite missing the back end of the Premier League season through injury.

The former Spurs man believes that the north London club can not let the 25-year old go under any circumstances, and believes that he is the DNA of the club.

“The issue that they’ve got is you can’t let Harry Kane go,” said O’Hara to Sky Sports News (Monday 3rd June, 13:35).

“He is Tottenham, he is the DNA of the club, you know he is the priceless player in that team, he is the talisman,

“You can’t let someone like him go, no matter what people offer.”

OPINION

Kane is arguably the best player that Spurs have to offer, and keeping him should be the main priority for the north London club going into the new Premier League season. Although there hasn’t been too much worry about him leaving the club, fans will still be hoping that there is no solid interest coming in for the striker in the coming months, as losing him would be catastrophic for the club, and they would be lost without him. Kane has scored 17 times in the Premier League this season, and Mauricio Pochettino will know that as long as he can keep Kane amongst his ranks, and keep him fit, Spurs will always be scoring goals. Kane is also key for Spurs in the Champions League too, and he managed five goals in nine appearance in the competitions this season, so the club would no doubt suffer without him in the competition next season if he were to move elsewhere.
