Leeds United are set to start talks with Manchester City over re-signing attacker Jack Harrison soon, according to Football Insider.

The football outlet claim that Marcelo Bielsa is keen to have the 22-year-old Man City winger return to Elland Road for a second loan spell as he believes Harrison has genuine star quality.

Football Insider report that a permanent deal isn’t feasible for Leeds United and that they’re hoping to convince Man City to lend them the attacker’s services once again.

Good move for Leeds?

Yes.

Harrison regularly featured for the Whites while on loan during the 2018/19 season as he made 42 appearances all competitions.

While some of the 22-year-old’s displays were disappointing, there were plenty of times when he looked the real deal.

Harrison seemed able to glide past his opponents with ease due to his dribbling ability but his end product was something that frustratingly let him down.

The winger, who racked up only four assists and four goals for the Whites,  therefore is a useful player to have, as you’d hope he could improve a little more under Bielsa, but he is not one worth permanently signing just yet.

Likely to happen?

Based on Football Insider’s report then Leeds fans should prepare themselves to welcome Harrison back for another season.

The 22-year-old, who currently earns £51,000-a-week at Man City (Source: Spotrac),  will likely be keen to return to Elland Road as he no doubt is aware that Bielsa rates him and he would get playing time if he makes the switch.

Harrison is nowhere near being ready to feature for Pep Guardiola’s first-team, so he should be looking to leave on a temporary or permanent basis.

Given that Leeds are looking to start talks soon then they have a good chance.

All they need to do is convince Man City that another loan move for Harrison is worth them sanctioning.
