Money is going to be tight this summer at Elland Road but Andrea Radrizzani is set to pocket a multi-million pound windfall if Danny Rose is sold.

He moved from Leeds to Spurs for £900k in 2007 and Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay revealed that Leeds have a sell-on clause that will give them 10% of any future sale.

The Tottenham defender admitted that his future in north London was unsure after the England game against Switzerland on Sunday.

Talking on Sky Sports he said, “I know my age and I know how the club’s run in terms of if you get to a certain age they might look to ship you on.

“It has been no secret that my name has been mentioned quite a few times in terms of players moving on and I’ll be just sitting tight over the next few weeks and just seeing what happens. Either way I’m prepared for whatever happens.”

Sky Sports later reported that Pochettino was ready to listen to offers for both of his full-backs as he looks to rebuild his squad this summer.

Rose had been linked with a £40million move to Man United in the January window and that would have netted Leeds £4million.

While that didn’t materialise and we can’t see him being sold for that much, we can definitely see Rose moving this summer and it could net Leeds a decent £2.5-£3million.

That would come at just the right time for Leeds, with Marcelo Bielsa staying for another shot at promotion from the Championship. £2.5million could deliver another top quality Championship player to Elland Road this summer and Leeds fans will be praying that Rose is sold for a tidy sum.
