Jack Harrison wants to return to Leeds for another loan spell, according to Football Insider.

The website, which has broken a lot of Leeds news recently, claimed that Marcelo Bielsa’s are keen to get a deal wrapped up for him early this summer.

They reported earlier that manager Marcelo Bielsa had instructed Leeds that he wanted the 22-year-old back after a successful season at Elland Road.

And it seems the feeling is mutual with a source now telling FI that Harrison – on a reported £51k-a-week at Man City – wants to return to Leeds and that he sees it as the ideal place for his continued development.

OPINION

Harrison didn’t live up to his £51k-a-week billing last season, except for flashes of the sort of brilliance we were expecting from a player from Man City. However, Bielsa obviously liked what he saw – and that could be as much about how he sees his progression as anything else. Harrison obviously believes Bielsa is the man to shape his career and that should lead to another season at Elland Road for the 22-year-old. That’s good news. Leeds want players who want to be at the club and Harrison is a very willing loanee. Perhaps this season we’ll see what he can do more consistently although leeds fans are going to want to see proof fairly early on in the season. If he does join – and it’s looking very likely now – that will be one of the three new wingers that Bielsa wants in place for next season. One down, two to go.
