Mark Noble has had one of his best seasons as a West Ham player. The 31-year-old supplied his fifth assists of the season in the Premier League as he set up Marko Arnautovic’s goal in the first-half against Southampton on Saturday, and to the surprise of no one, many fans on Twitter have been blown away by the midfielder’s performance in the opening 45 minutes. Noble’s attacking contribution in recent weeks has been fantastic and even though he did not have Declan Rice playing alongside him in the midfield this weekend, he still managed to have a similar impact in the final third with Pedro Obiang stepping in. It did help that Obiang also played quite well in that first-half because Noble was allowed to get a bit further forward thanks to the work-rate of his midfield partner. Hopefully they can continue to play well into the second-half because this is a game that the Irons should win.
