West Brom should revive their hunt to sign Nottingham Forest attacker Joe Lolley in the summer transfer window.

In December, the Daily Mail reported that Albion, Crystal Palace and Watford are interested in signing the 26-year-old winger, who has scored 11 goals and supplied 11 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions for Forest this season.

The Birmingham Mail claimed in March that Aston Villa have also eyed up Lolley and he is a supporter of West Brom’s bitter local rivals.

However Lolley has played brilliantly for Nottingham Forest this season and the Baggies should definitely go all in to try and sign the dazzling attacker in the summer.

The former Huddersfield ace would definitely be a solid addition to the Baggies’ attack if they fail to win promotion to the Premier League because his form in the Championship this term speaks for itself.

If Albion are promoted then Lolley would still be a great signing because he has shown this season that he might even be too good for the Championship.

Sun journalist Alan Nixon reported via his personal Twitter account in February that Forest value Lolley at £13million, which is a lot of money.

However that will be £13million well spent if West Brom do not win the play-offs.

West Brom’s issue is that Lolley is attracting interest from the Premier League and he is bound to want to join either Palace or Watford if Albion find themselves stuck in the Championship for next season.

It does not help the Baggies that the 26-year-old supports Aston Villa as well, but the Redditch-born ace would surely put aside rivalries to play for a team in the top-flight.
