Line of Duty star Martin Compston sent Scott Sinclair a one-word Instagram message after Celtic completed the treble-treble.
The actor, who is a known Hoops supporter, took to his personal Instagram account to simply call the 30-year-old midfielder a legend.
“Legend,” wrote Compston.
Compston sent Sinclair the message in response to the midfielder taking to his verified Instagram account to share a picture with the Scottish Cup after the 2-1 win against Hearts.
“We did it baby, Treble-Treble..,” wrote the 30-year-old.

Compston seemed to celebrate Celtic’s win over Hearts as much as the players, with the actor even being pictured in the dressing room at one point. With the actor playing a serious role in Line of Duty, it is peculiar to actually see him smile let alone go into full-blown celebration mode. Yet then again given his support of the Hoops who can blame him? Neil Lennon’s side had to come from a goal behind against Hearts and for the nine minutes Hearts were in front, you feared that Celtic were about to miss their opportunity to seal a treble-treble at the last hurdle. Yet in fantastic fashion, going behind seemed to spur the Hoops players into action. With Lennon looking likely to be in charge next season as manager it will be interesting to see if he can keep the party going. The Hoops boss clearly knows he has to recruit the right players in the summer window to have any chance of doing this, as Rangers have improved under Steven Gerrard.
