OPINION
Rangers fans were clearly not happy with Daniel Candeias’ contribution in the 1-0 win against Hibernian at Ibrox on Sunday and to be fair, they have a point to be upset with the Portuguese winger. He came off the bench at half-time to replace Ryan Kent, who picked up a knock, and offered very little in the attack. Candeias did have a chance to score not long after his introduction but couldn’t convert it into a goal, and that clearly left some supporters on Twitter furious. It has not been a great season for Candeias really and it is understandable to see the frustration peaking among many fans. One has even suggested that he should go in the summer and while that would open up a slot in the squad for an upgrade, it’s not like Rangers would get much money for the 31-year-old, who will also enter the final year of his contract in the summer.
