OPINION

Jermain Defoe took his time to find his shooting boots in the first-half against Hibernian on Sunday. The on-loan Bournemouth forward missed a few good opportunities in the opening half an hour or so before he finally found the net just before half-time. Understandably, many Rangers fans on Twitter were left drooling over the veteran striker, who just cannot stop scoring at the moment. Even though it took him time to finally hit the back of the net, it was worth waiting for because it was a very well-worked goal by the Light Blues, who controlled that first-half against Hibs at Ibrox and deserve to be in the lead. Hopefully Defoe can bag one or two more goals for himself after the break to make this a comfortable win for Rangers before the last Old Firm derby of the season next week. Rangers need to go into that game on a high.
