COMMENTARY
Many Manchester United fans loved what they saw from 19-year-old Tahith Chong after witnessing him be given an opportunity to impress against Huddersfield Town on Sunday. Man United may have suffered a disappointing 1-1 draw with the Terriers, but at least the young winger gave supporters a reason to be hopeful. Chong replaced Alexis Sanchez in the 53rd minute of the match and he made a notable impression. Granted a lot of the reasons why Man United fans below were impressed was to do with how poor Sanchez was, but still there was a chance Chong could have let the game pass him by. However Chong seemed determined to stand out as he constantly ran at the Terriers’ defence, kept getting himself into good positions and noticeably kept urging his teammates to pass to him. While his request for the ball fell on deaf ears way too often, it didn’t reflect badly on him. Hopefully Chong will continue to get more opportunities at Old Trafford in the near future.

Chong has ran with more intensity, tenacity & purpose in the few minutes he’s been on the pitch than Sanchez did in whole 1st half. @MUFC #MUFC

Chong stands out and he's what 18? Sprinting for everything. Something these expired players can't do.
