COMMENTARY
Tottenham lost 1-0 to Bournemouth and there were few reasons for fans to be cheery. However one Spurs player was determined to put a smile on supporters faces and his efforts were appreciated on social media even though it didn’t lead to three points. The player in question was none other than Moussa Sissoko. The midfielder was often panned by supporters and pundits alike in his previous campaign, but it’s fair to say he has transformed for the better. Mauricio Pochettino’s side were reduced to nine-men against Bournemouth and Sissoko stepped up to give supporters hope. As one Tottenham fan said below, it was like the midfielder was everywhere on the pitch as he seemed to be playing three or four positions at the same time. While Sissoko’s passing can sometimes make you want to tear your hair out, you can never question his work rate. Sissoko never gives up and that is inspirational.

If Sissoko doesn’t end up as Tottenham’s player of the season then I’ve fully given up hope with this club

Sissoko is used to doing the job of 2 players anyway, so if Trippier stays solid we won't notice the 2 missing men
