OPINION
Kyle Walker-Peters has had an odd season and he must be wondering whether he has a future in north London after really struggling for game-time.
He was afforded a rare start today but it didn’t really help him out and fans’ opinions were split on the right-back during the game against Everton.
Some thought he had a great game while others said he looked out his depth. He was perhaps best summed up by one fan who said, “I’ve never seen a player win the ball and lose the ball at the same time as much as Walker-Peters.”
Through the season, with fans criticisng Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier, Walker-Peters has had to watch from the sidelines, despite fans calling for him to play.
He even had to suffer Mauricio Pochettino deciding to play centre-back Juan Foyth out on the right instead of him, something the Tottenham fans might see more of next season.
Walker-Peters isn’t young any more… He’s 22 and only started four games in the Premier League this season, in six total appearances. With Pochettino probably looking for a new right-back in the summer, Walker-Peters might have to look for a loan move or even a permanent one.
Here are the best reactions to Walker-Peters display v Everton:
Seeing #KWP play makes me happy and clueless why he doesn’t get game time. #COYS

Dier looking nervous. Poch need to fix that. KWP also keep running with no purpose, got exposed few times. Alli operating with too much thinking. There must be a lot of talks going in the dressing room now.

Walker-Peters has played a pretty decent game. Still, don’t see Poch giving him the go ahead over Trippier. #THFC #COYS
