Some Newcastle United fans took to social media to drool over the fact their club were reportedly pursuing the services of Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson this summer. Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that the Magpies, Southampton and Brighton were among the host of clubs keen to sign the 22-year-old winger. The broadcaster claimed that Liverpool would want a mouthwatering offer in the region of £25million to part company with Wilson despite the attacker having never featured in the Premier League. While Wilson’s services appear to carry a huge price tag, that didn’t stop Magpies fans drooling over the prospect of their club potentially signing him. One Magpies supporter revealed they would love Wilson at St James Park as he would 100% improve under manager Rafa Benitez, while another shared they thought the attacker ticked all of the boxes. Wilson has wowed for Derby County while on loan with them this season, he has scored 18 goals in 48 outings, but paying £25million for an unproven Premier League player is a risk.
