Many Everton fans seemed happy over the idea that clubs were pursuing the services of winger Ademola Lookman, as it seems a large section of Toffees supporters were ready for their club to cash in. The Independent reported on Friday that Southampton were keen on signing the 21-year-old for £20million, and that RB Leipzig as well as Bournemouth were also in the hunt for the player’s signature. Several Toffees fans seemed open to £20million being enough, while some seemed to want more while another wanted the Saints to give them Nathan Redmond if Lookman was about to head to St Mary’s. Given that Toffees fans only seemed to disagree on what their club got in return for Lookman, it does seem the 21-year-old won’t be missed too much. The 21-year-old, who has blistering pace, showed glimpses of his talent in the 24 outings he made in the 2018/19 campaign, but he never did enough to be seen as a starter.
