Marcelo Bielsa could be forced into making one change to his starting line-up ahead of Leeds United’s play-off semi-final clash against Derby County at Pride Park on Saturday.

Pontus Jansson is an injury doubt for the first-leg of the semi-finals and that means that fringe player Gaetano Berardi could replace the 28-year-old at centre-back for the trip to the East Midlands.

Berardi, 30, has only started 10 Championship matches this season, but he could get the nod to start against Derby if Jansson, whose spot in the first team has been untouchable this term by appearing in 41 games in all competitions, does not recover in time.

Kiko Casilla had a bit of a shocker when Leeds lost 3-2 to Ipswich on the final day of the regular season, but Bielsa is unlikely to drop the Spanish goalkeeper for the play-offs and he is predicted to start.

Luke Ayling could start at right-back with Berardi lining up alongside Liam Cooper in the centre of the defence.

Stuart Dallas is likely to retain his spot at left-back due to Barry Douglas and Ezgjan Alioski being injured.

Bielsa’s midfield three is likely to be Kalvin Phillips, Adam Forshaw and Mateusz Klich.

Tyler Roberts has been ruled out of the trip to Derby, so Forshaw is expected to keep hold of his spot in the midfield.

Pablo Hernandez and Jack Harrison are predicted to start on both of the wings while Kemar Roofe could start up front as Patrick Bamford serves the final match of his two-game ban.
