Theo Walcott has had a season to forget for Everton, and some fans on Twitter appear to be completely fed up of the former Arsenal winger. It is definitely true to say that the Toffees looked a lot worse against Burnley on Friday night after Walcott, 30, came off the bench in the second-half. Richarlison’s injury forced Marco Silva into sending the experienced attacker onto the pitch, but as soon as that happened, the Blues seemed to slow down and Burnley came into the game a lot more. If Walcott had not had such a poor season then fans would not be linking their side’s drop in performance with the winger’s inclusion into the game in the second-half, however when he has played so badly for the last year, you can see their point. Silva needs to try and strengthen that right-hand wing in the summer because neither Walcott or Ademola Lookman have been good enough for the Merseyside club.
