OPINION
Many Everton fans were understandably blown away by Morgan Schneiderlin’s display in the 2-0 win against Burnley at Goodison Park on Friday night. The 29-year-old Frenchman has seemingly come out of nowhere in the last few weeks to replace Andre Gomes and be one of the Toffees’ best players in their recent good run of form. He was everywhere against Burnley this week, and not in a bad way. The away side could not rest on the ball because Schneiderlin was on them within in an instant and once he did have the ball at his feet, his passing and movement were also very impressive. It is a shame that we have not seen this from Schneiderlin on a regular basis because he still has a long way to go to prove his transfer value for the Blues. Is he putting himself in the shop window ahead of the summer? Or has he finally realised that he has to get his head down and work hard to stop himself going down as a Goodison Park flop.
